Most people have moved to a few 'mega' cities, where, due to the rampant population increase, law and order have collapsed.

Fighting takes place not only on the streets of a futuristic city, but also in a prison and in the middle of the ruins.A scrolling and narrated prologue opens the film: in the Third Millennium (the 21st Century), the Earth's ecosystem has become polluted and altered, leaving much of the world's landmass a barren desert called the Cursed Earth. In places, the hero collects first-aid kits, grenades and various weapons. In addition to ordinary people, the hero is confronted with robots and former colleagues who, disillusioned with the justice system, have embarked on a dark path. Some of the perpetrators can be arrested. The protagonist runs through the levels and takes part in shootouts with ordinary bandits and bosses. The project consists of 30 missions, which will be carried out in 12 extensive stages. In the game Judge Dredd, the character of the same name tries to save Mega-City-1 from his clone brother Rick, who used to be his colleague but has now become a dangerous criminal.

They exercise the law themselves, adjudicating and enforcing it on the spot. Genetically modified people, armed with multifunctional pistols, ensure order in the cities. People live in several gigantic closed megalopolises because the earth has turned into a dangerous radioactive wasteland. In the original setting, there was a place for cyberpunk and neo-noir elements. Events unfold in a dark dystopian future. The plot partly repeats the events of the film, which came out in the mid-1990s. As the name suggests, the game is based on the Judge Dredd comics and their very first film adaptation.
